Job purpose:

We are looking for a full time, experienced, flexible Personal Assistant to provide administrative support to the Estate Manager and wider Estate Office. This role will also involve the coordination of a small number of events held on the Estate.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  1. Manage diary and schedule meetings and appointments for the Estate Manager
  2. Transcribing notes and typing letters
  3. Act as the first point of contact into the office
  4. Screen and direct phone calls and distribute incoming / outgoing post
  5. Update electronic and hard copy files
  6. Updating company website
  7. Dealing with residential & commercial tenants/contractors/surveyors
  8. Coordinating the small amount of existing events, liaising with event organisers etc
  9. Dealing with new events enquiries
  10. Producing Health and Safety risk assessments and method statements
  11. Arranging event and entertainment licences
  12. Coordinating fire and intruder alarm servicing
  13. Maintaining and updating the First Aid kit
  14. Ordering stationery


  • Proven work experience as a personal assistant
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Educated to A Level or similar
  • First Aid trained (or training will be provided)
  • Experience of Risk Assessments / Health & Safety
  • Due to the location a car is essential
  • Flexibility – there may be on occasion the need to work at weekends or after hours depending on the type of event running
