Due to continuing business success and growth we now have a fantastic opportunity available for an Administrator to join our team in Thurrock, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Administrator responsibilities:
  • Responsibility for providing effective administration support to all departments within the logistics unit in a timely, professional and efficient manner.
  • Ensuring that all company financial procedures are adhered to and report deadlines are achieved.
  • Responsibility for the accurate and timely recording of data and information relevant to the business.
  • Producing various reports, spreadsheets and minutes as required by the management team.
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures including (but not limited to) finance, health and safety and ICT.
  • Ensuring safe, profitable day-to-day operation of the logistics unit within the limits of the role.
  • Projecting a professional company image through both actions and quality of work ensuring the standards required under the company’s ISO9001, OSH18001, IMS14001 certification are maintained.
  • Contributing to the month end process by collating and submitting information in a timely manner.
  • Providing, where necessary, operational support and cover for the logistics unit as and when required.
The ideal Administrator:
  • Full UK driving licence (due to location of site).
  • English and Maths GCSE or equivalent.
  • Detailed understanding of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Understanding of financial accounting methodologies.
  • Highly organised, accurate and efficient.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to perform a range of tasks and duties to a high standard.
  • Excellent computer skills and competent with Microsoft packages.
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight timescales.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers, clients, regulatory officials, colleagues and visitors.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Previous experience in a similar administration role.
In return for your hard work as an Administrator you can expect to receive a salary of £18,000 - £20,000 per annum with a range of benefits
