Junior Software Trainer - £25,000 Croydon

You'll be training their clients on all features of dotmailer as well as email marketing and marketing automation best practices, following a defined curriculum to deliver standard training as well as delivering bespoke training courses for key clients.
You will work closely with the rest of the training team, including the Training Coordinator who manages all scheduling and bookings and the Head of Training who currently designs all types of courses. You'll be feeding into course design and development, working to continuously improve the already impressive training offering at dotmailer.
The training takes place on-site at all of their various locations as well as within client's offices which may occasionally be based internationally. In addition to face to face, training may be telephone or web based. You'll be required to deliver training to a varying level of abilities and experience, sometimes within the same session. You should be able to identify participant's skill level and vary your training accordingly.
The training function is an integral part of their overall customer success efforts and you should be able to identify potential client issues and proactively highlight these to the appropriate account manager as well as spot and drive opportunities to cross-sell additional services including additional training.
Skills and experience:
- One to two years experience in delivering technical and best practice training
- Proactive and confident in unexpected situations
- Experienced in building strong positive relationships both with colleagues and clients
- Organised, with strong time management skills
- Happy to work flexibly
- A self-starter with a strong focus on attention to detail
- Experience of email marketing systems would be welcomed but full training will be given
- Understanding of CRM systems (in particular Salesforce or MS Dynamics), direct marketing and/or data and databases would be advantageous
- Experience of the Magento or Shopify ecommerce solution would be advantageous
