Run Fast Sports Management Ltd is a UK based organisation that manages elite international athletes predominantly in the disciplines of middle distance and endurance road running.

Currently the Run-Fast athlete team is made up of circa 50 African professional athletes and 10 aspiring young British athletes. Going forward we now wish to expand our operations into the USA athlete management market.

This therefore is an opportunity to become  totally immersed in the elite athletics arena in the position of an international athlete recruiter and manager with the aim of establishing the Run-Fast brand in the USA. Whilst the position is based in London, the successful applicant will be operating frequently in the USA.

Job description

As an International Athlete Manager you are required to identify and recruit elite and emerging athletes to the Run-Fast Team, with a focus on athletes competing in the USA.

You are required therefore to attend athletic meetings throughout the world but predominately throughout the USA.

For team athletes, you will be responsible for managing the career of individual athletes and therefore will become involved in negotiating contracts and other business opportunities that maximize the benefit to our athletes.

You will also be responsible for coordinating marketing, promotional engagements and travel.

Experience required

The successful applicant will be fully familiar with the USA Track & Road racing scene. You must be familiar with the availability of races, the condition of such races, and the management structure plus have extensive knowledge of existing successful and emerging athlete talent pool in the USA.


Ideally applicants should have:

  • A Masters degree in a sports, or sports related, academic discipline.
  • Proven ability to write persuasive sales documents and be able to demonstrate commerciality in your approach.
  • A commercial outlook.


This position will only suit applicants who are:

  • Able to commit equally to working in the USA and the UK.
  • Able to travel extensively for days or even weeks at a time. 
  • A people person with an outgoing nature
  • Able to commercially negotiate (with Race Directors in particular).

Salary  Market rate.
