The Council is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to help drive forward Ashford's prosperity through the delivery of economic development projects and services. Recognised as the Number 1 Business Location in Kent; you will be instrumental in delivering:
- Ashford's inward investment marketing campaign, along with
- Support for local companies through the provision of excellent business support services.
- Leading the delivery of improved superfast broadband services across the Borough.
- Liaising with developers and investors to drive forward investment in commercial business space.
This is a career-graded post, with greater skills and experience required to achieve progression to the higher grade. Ideally, you will have experience working in the fields of Economic Development or Regeneration.
They are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal, verbal communication and presentation skills. In addition, you will have the ability to develop and analyse economic and research data, and write reports, strategies and bids to deliver projects that support increased jobs, business, skills and prosperity within the Borough.
