A Project Manager with is required to work on behalf of a not for profit organisation based in Thanet - working four days per month on an interim basis until December 2019 to deliver a new-build project in the region. The incoming candidate will coordinate and manage all aspects of a new-build Capital project until the building is completed. Chief responsibilities will include: ?Planning and supervisory of delivery of the capital build project and ensure the timescales and deliverables are achieved; ?To mobilise and coordinate resources and consultants working on the capital project; ?To work with the Project Co-ordinator to manage the capital budget ; ?To work with the Project Co-ordinator to ensure that claims are made promptly to funders to pay contractors on time; ?To oversee the appointment and work of consultants and contractors for the capital build; ?To develop and implement the hard interpretation for the new building and caves; ?Integration of the hard interpretation into the building; ?To provide advice and recommendations to the Steering Group so that it can direct and ensure the success of the project; ?To monitor project progress, manage evaluation of the capital project and provide regular updates to the Steering Group The ideal applicant will be a seasoned Project Manager with experience of delivering construction-based capital projects in order to be considered the role. Candidates must be able to commit to four days per month up until December 2019. A start in August will be required.
