Health & Safety Inspector
My client is one of the leading and fastest growing property groups in the UK specialising in residential block management. They are expanding their internal health & safety team so have requested that I find them an experienced Health & Safety Inspector ideally that are NEBOSH General and Fire & BOHS P402 (Asbestos Surveying) qualified. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS This role requires the employee to be familiar with all current H&S and Fire Safety legislation that is relevant to the properties that are managed by my client. Experience in the completion of Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessments and Asbestos Survey reports is essential with relevant qualifications (ie NEBOSH, BOHS) preferred. The employee will be required to ensure that they keep up to date with any changes in legislation and will be expected to attend training courses to ensure that they continually expand their knowledge. It will also be necessary for the employee to advise and guide Property Managers on the recommendations that they have detailed within their reports and if required liaise with Company Directors in response to any queries they may have upon receipt of the report. The role consists of carrying out reports for blocks managed by my client which will comprise of travel in central London, and around UK. It is likely that 1 day a week the candidate will need to be office based but for the remaining 4 days the candidate will be out on site completing the reports. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To produce Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessment Reports for our clients in accordance with current legislation. ·To undertake H&S Reports and Fire Risk Assessments as and when instructed by the Property Managers. ·To undertake Asbestos Management Surveys and Asbestos re-inspections/monitoring. ·To produce remedial reports further to an incident on site relating to a potential H&S claim. ·To advise Property Managers further to any queries that arise from the content of the reports produced. ·To ensure that knowledge of current legislation is kept to date to ensure that reports are in keeping with any changes. ·To help liaise with Fire Officers in regards to any inspections carried out by the Local Fire Authority or Enforcement Notices sent.
