Within MINT, Abbey Legal provides a number of legal insurance and consultancy services. Duties and accountabilities · The role will require the applicant to establish and develop a good working relationship with solicitor firms and promote the After The Event (ATE) Insurance Divisions products & services. This will consist of maintaining existing clients and developing new clients · Manage a portfolio of existing commercial ATE clients – identifying new leads and converting to new business · Manage marketing campaigns, following up via the telephone and booking appointments · Attending external exhibitions nationwide · Required to conduct audits and periodically review the files of our member firms · Conduct inductions for new members and complete the sales cycle by converting new members into policy issuing members ·The role is target driven and there are commission opportunities Skills/Knowledge/Experience The successful candidate will have: · Demonstrable experience in sales, telesales or recruitment · Demonstrate a basic understanding of insurance ·Excellent telephone etiquette, and general communication skills · Be able to prioritise work load, have good time management skills and able to work to deadlines Markel competencies Pursuit of excellence · Consistently provides quality work products · Adapts behaviour to reflect the style of others to foster effective working relationships · Finds the most efficient and practical means of overcoming challenges Customer focus · Actively looks for solutions to customer problems · Seeks to further knowledge of customer needs · Builds relationships with customers and responds to needs by demonstrating tact, empathy and professionalism Business results · Seeks the best and most direct option to accomplish tasks · Demonstrates effective organisation skills · Applies logic and draws accurate conclusions from information Collaboration · Helps others succeed · Approaches change in a positive manner · Listens for and acts on key information Strong foundations · Holds self and others accountable to ethical standards · Takes ownership and accountability for own development · Shows accountability and resilience in achieving goals This job was originally posted as
