A company with amazing foundations and a very good reputation in their field are looking for a Customer Account Manager. Although the company has been around for a long time they are run by a young, dynamic team. Role summary Your role will be to look after all aspects of our clients’ requirements, working within a team to maintain long term relationships and maximize sales opportunities. The role is varied and interesting and can be broadly split into 2 areas: Service & Sales First and foremost, you’ll ensure that your clients receive the best service from one point of contact. You’ll make sure that your clients are looked after while always looking for opportunities to upsell and go further. Relationships & Growth You’ll have a list of clients for whom you’ll be responsible. By building relationships with them and providing an excellent service you’ll keep them coming back. They are your clients so treat the role like you’re running your own business and you will be hugely successful. Experience & skills Experience of sales in a business to business environment is a big advantage. A friendly personality and ability to win clients over are also essential. Product knowledge is not required but the successful client must demonstrate a willingness to learn and understand client’s needs and their industry. Principle duties and requirements include: The ability to identify opportunity and capitalize on it to effect growth A high level of initiative and ability to work independently The ability to work and interact with client senior level staff, engineers and administrative staff Commercial acumen (understanding profitability and costs) Coordinate work flow with other team members Able to analyse and interpret data rapidly and effectively to provide customer insight The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic to learn, demonstrate drive and a desire to provide the highest level of service and recognise opportunities to upsell. You would not be expected to have industry experience as a full training programme wil be put in place. This really is a fun place to be.
