General Manager, Branded Limited Service Hotel My client currently has an exciting opportunity for an EXPERIENCED General Manager to lead the team at one of their South London properties. A competitive salary of up to £35,000 per annum awaits the successful candidate. A friendly company which is focused on delivering a fantastic experience for guests throughout its hotel portfolio. They have a reputation for excellence in their field and for this reason are encouraging applications from managers with 2-3 years Hotel General Management experience and who have a stable CV. Being General Manager means taking financial responsibility for the hotel, so commercially savvy General Managers who are financially astute will be highly considered for this role. Their General Manager will be responsible for: - Maximising Profitability, minimising costs whilst adhering to brand standards and ensuring the compliance of all staff within the hotel at all times - Overseeing the operation of the whole hotel on a daily basis - Taking a proactive role in the sales, yield and revenue whilst controlling costs - Maintaining effective communication at all levels - Adhere to and maintain all legal/statutory responsibilities and company policies and procedures - Build a strong and motivated team in all areas of the hotel, plan personal goals, train and develop - Displaying strong customer service skills and a 'can do' attitude with colleagues and customers What they're looking for in their General Manager: They are looking for an organised, experienced General Manager who has been successful in a branded hotel environment for at least the last 2 to 3 years. A General manager with proven admin skills who can display a track record of improving business metrics in a hotel environment.
