As part of this scheme we have a structured initial learning program for 3 months followed by our continuous learning program. We are hiring for the role of a Graduate Business Analyst As a Graduate Business Analystyour role would be to: Job Purpose and primary objectives: To act as an Business Analyst and Business Process Change facilitator for a large COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) product based transformation program. Job role will likely include the requirement to learn and apply the knowledge of a new technology suite from a functionality perspective, and work with business users in embedding business processes driven by new technology adoption. Key responsibilities: Understand customer requirements through various delivery artefacts like Business Design Documents, user journeys, personas, user stories, etc. Employ business analysis techniques and tools during workshops and interviews that will acquire the business requirements for the new technology suite ensuring at all times that this is in line with business unit strategy/ benefit realisation. Documenting, managing and owning requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Convert business requirements into accurate and complete process diagrams such as Flowcharts and Data Flow Diagrams where required. Engineer business requirements into detailed functional requirements/ Use Cases that can be used by potential suppliers and development teams providing cost-effective solutions that provide with a technological advantage. Advise business stakeholders, Project Managers and Programme Managers of the range of possible business solutions, at all times being aware of the business case and financial impact. Assist Project Managers in guiding technical teams through the development process, at all times ensuring that the business strategy is being considered and the user experience is at an optimum. Creating test scripts and user acceptance scenarios from requirements. Technical Skills: Microsoft office - word , excel and power point, Microsoft Visio (expert) Experience in any Enterprise Architecture Information Tool (e.g.: iServer) will be a plus Any Business Analyst certification would be desirable: BCS, ISEB, IIBA CCBA or CBAP Other Skills: Knowledge of the business processes involved within the utilities sector - gas, electricity, water, or experience of working in Capital Delivery projects in a regulatory environment (e.g.: Telecommunication, Aviation etc.). Experience with business process modelling including gathering the information, documenting and verification with business users. Extensive experience in designing, developing and implementing solution processes and procedures. Substantial experience of the IT Project management lifecycle. Be customer focused with ability to identify and understand the customer's needs. Have creative problem solving and analysis skills with an ability to identify develop and implement solutions to gaps to meet the needs of the business. Excellent written English communication skills, to the level required to own solutions and appropriate documentation.
