Tunbridge Wells Mental Health Resource Ltd (MHR) is a highly respected established Charity delivering mental health services to individuals across Kent. The Charity is steadily growing and a new project Serenity Cafe has recently been funded.

We are currently seeking an experienced Mental Health Deputy Manager to lead and manage the development of this exciting new service.

Serenity Caf?? will offer an out of hours support service for adults suffering from (or developing) mental health problems and their carers. The Caf?? will provide a safe, supportive, nurturing environment for people who are in or close to crisis point. Our focus will be increasing confidence and self-esteem, promoting independence and strategies for managing recovery as well as providing emotional and practical mental health support. It is intended that pressure on Police, A & E. GP's and acute mental health services will reduce.

You'll be a self-motivated manager, with proven leadership experience. Your brilliant organisation and interpersonal skills will be fully utilised along with your passion for improving mental health services. A willingness to work closely with external partners is essential as is a commitment to ensure the success of the project.

The post is part time for 12 hours a week, initially offered for 6 months. Working hours are Friday 5.30pm - 9.30pm and Sunday 2.30pm - 6.30pm (+ 4 hours administration). MHR offer 25 days annual leave pro rata, career development opportunities and flexible working.
