Job Details We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Planning Co-ordinator at our warehouse in Medway. This is a key position within our team reporting to the Capacity & Planning Manager to assist in the provision of an effective and efficient warehouse service and to be able to provide accurate management information. Main duties: Working closely with warehouse managers to ensure the smooth running of the operation Assisting the warehouse team to substantiate and resolve stockholding, documentation and any ad-hoc issues and to manage stock movements Meeting and exceeding operational KPI’s Managing stock movements through the operation Conducting and resolving variance investigations of stock counts/uplifts, including validating count data To assist with stock audits Production of reports for both the customer and depot/contract Senior Management Team. To produce a warehouse resource plan on a daily/weekly/monthly level that maintains a high level of service and on plan with budgeted costs To be involved in system training and implementation Person Profile Be flexible and respond positively and reliably to internal and external customer requests Must be an effective communicator and be able to develop good working relationships at all levels Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Intermediate Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables) Sound knowledge of Distribution and Warehouse systems Good numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail to ensure documentation is correct and error free Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels Must be flexible in terms of working hours as this role works shifts and can be any 5 from 7 rotating early/late shifts Comfortable working in a pressurised environment and to tight deadlines Skills Previous experience of Distribution and Warehouse Systems essential About us It is an exciting time to join us…Wincanton is a leading Third Party Logistics (3PL) firm, providing supply chain consultancy and solutions to some of the world’s most admired brands in the UK and Ireland.
