We currently have an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and organisation skills to join our team in Sevenoaks (Chaucer Business Park, Watery Lane, Kemsing, Sevenoaks, TN15 6QY) as a Communications Coordinator . This role is focused on managing and coordinating all marketing and communication activities within the company across the municipal division. Whilst this role is based within marketing and communication previous experience in that area is not essential. We are seeking someone who has excellent administration skills, strong attention to detail and who enjoys being responsible for organisational activities. The Role: You will manage marketing and communication requirements across the entire municipal division with Biffa or which there are a number of areas. As part of this role you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our client database. You will ensure responses for escalated complaints are coordinated (whether phone, mail or e-mail). As Communication Coordinator with Biffa you will ensure that all staff are aware of and use the corporate style guide. You will manage the complication and circulation of the municipal division's newsletters, plus ensuring sufficient and accurate representation of the municipal division through any corporate Biffa newsletters. You will be heavily involved in project managing outside events e.g. open days, exhibition, client visits etc. As part of this role you will be responsible for maintaining stock levels of promotional materials. You will manage the relationship with external PR and Design consultants You will manage external enquiries from suppliers, clients and newsletter feedback As Communication Coordinator you will provide marketing and advertising material for a number of areas within Biffa Municipal as well as developing and delivering the material. You will be responsible for managing and liaising with clients on all communication campaigns i.e. service change, new contract, satisfaction surveys, participation surveys etc. Within this role you will provide support on communications for tenders, contract mobilisations and service changes You will work within annual budgets and keep a detailed record of expenditure You will update websites as and when required This role involves liaising with depots and clients on advertising and sponsorship opportunities You will manage and co-ordinate implementation of internal marketing and communication campaigns Summary of the role: To provide a proactive role in the marketing of the municipal activity internally and externally. To ensure negative media attention is escalated where appropriate and dealt with promptly to ensure minimal exposure. To ensure priority is given to essential communications and deadlines are adhered to.
