Business Development Manager Kent “Are you a talented face to face sales person with the ability to sell within the FM sector?” The Company My client is big player in the Facilities management sector with contracts all over the UK, covering schools, hospitals, local government buildings and council contracts. The Ideal Candidate You will be highly motivated and driven individual who has experience of selling services within the Facilities Management sector. To be the ideal Business Development Manager you must have face to face sales experience and have worked within the Facilities Management sector. You may come from a client relationship/account manager background and you must have client facing experience and the ability to build great relationships. The Role As the Business Development manager, you will start by adopting a soft sell culture towards targeting clients, this will be done by calling the heads/bursars of each school and follow up with a site visit to discuss further options. The clients TFM service includes cleaning, HVAC, compliance, reactive and emergency maintenance so you will be able to package all these up into a contract agreement and sell this service to the clients. You must have sound technical Facilities Management knowledge and be able to sell the service in a professional and articulate manner and explain and discuss each service to the client effectively. You will be able to generate solid leads and explore these turning them into client meetings to win further business for the company.
