We are seeking up to 8 Support Workers to work for an accredited, nationally recognised learning disability service provider with over 90 services in England, Scotland and Wales.

The service is a friendly, established 8 bed residential service for younger adults with learning disabilities, complex needs and mental health issues. The service has a particular need for people who have an understanding of supporting people with challenging behaviour issues.

As part of a key-working team, you'll work with the people the company supports to develop new daily living skills, make new friends, get involved in their community, support with their own personal care, go on holiday, or find themselves a new job.

Liaising closely with their friends and family, as well as your team, you'll make sure they are safe, happy, healthy and full of plans for the future.

Working to a person-centered model that puts the people we support at the heart of all you do, you'll develop support plans collaboratively, setting goals for the future and working towards them having increased independence. Working closely with your Service Manager and Team Leader to evaluate risks, review progress and drive our innovative services forward, you'll be a vital member of the team.

Experience is not absolutely necessary for this role as full training and the opportunity to complete the care certificate is provided, but it would be an advantage. A can-do attitude and a positive work ethic is what we are looking for. It is also important the right candidate has a full clean driving license.

If you, or you know someone interested, please click apply to send your CV or contact Paul Percival on (agy).

Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
