You will be joining an independent family owned and operated company based in Aylesford. They are a Home Care Agency in Kent who hold an official contract with Kent County Council. We provide services for people of all ages and with varying needs of Care and Support. Full time position - Starting salary GBP17,500 P/A Additional payments for On Call duties and any care work undertaken. Pension contributions, 32 days Holiday (including Bank Holidays) Principal Responsibilities - Assist with producing the weekly staff rota - Assist with the implementation of the new care computer system - Updating the rota on a daily basis and amending as necessary - To liaise with Care Managers, service users and/or their families and other relevant professional bodies to ensure that the best interests of Xtracare Service Users are maintained at all times. - To provide emergency cover in the community if alternative arrangements/cover cannot be provided. - To cover the on-call service on a regular pattern in conjunction with the other on call staff - General office/admin duties as required Role Requirements - Experience in care essential. - Experience as a coordinator an advantage but not essential. - Must be computer literate, ideally with a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. - Must be able to drive with the use of a car. - Must be able to work weekends when on-call The ideal candidate will need to be methodical with good organisational and communication skills.
